About Us

The Utah Society for Healthcare Communicators and Planners was created in 1973 to provide a forum for healthcare industry public relations, marketing and planning professionals to gain knowledge and share ideas.

In 2005 the name was changed to Utah Society for Healthcare Communications and Marketing to acknowledge the blending of communications and marketing which is occurring in the marketplace. The “communicating C” in the USHCAM logo symbolizes the importance of networking, coordination and communication.
